Dounreay 132kV Substation

We are currently working with Keltbray Energy providing commercial support and site management. Keltbray Energy have been engaged by SSENT to deliver the 33/132kV substation, 132kV overhead line and underground cable connection to the existing Dounreay 132kV Substation located just outside Thurso. The deliverables include the design, build, installation and commissioning of all aspects of the aforementioned elements of construction.

Keltbray Energy’s fist self-deliver renewables project which we have helped provide commercial support and grow the division. Full substation build with internal AIS Equipment Build, test and commissioning 5.5 hectares of Forestry Tree Felling 4km 60 pole OHL route 1km Trefoil Under Ground Cable route terminating in the Dounreay Power Station GIS Hall. This is the first project of this nature that Keltbray are delivering.
